It’s a mobile, except we don’t have any wind for it. It’s a collection, as Ivan Karp once said, that comes from the leftovers of an industrial society. That’s as good a description as any. I used to be a jogger and Mattie put a little jogger in there, and I certainly drink champagne, or I did in those days, and that’s where the Moet comes from. There are other details of an intimate nature that are scattered throughout the piece. It’s quite intriguing.”
